My name is Yasmeen, but most people call me Yaz. My artist name is Glitchbie. I am a first-generation Lebanese woman living in the United States, with my BFA in Digital Art and my minor in Illustration. My work ranges from anything between animation to character illustration, graphic design, concept art, design work, and a variety of digital practices.

 

Having experience with a versatile number of programs and mediums, my themes tend to lean towards vibrant colors, detail-oriented work, futuristic as well as cyber matters, and motion/movement. Making the viewer feel immersed in my work is something I am very enthusiastic about.

So far, I have accomplished many of my creative goals. This includes being a vendor at multiple artist alley conventions as well as placing my artwork in galleries & art shows. In addition, I finished studying digital art for my degree and learning a variety of mediums, working in a graphic design studio & lab, gaining cliental experience, managing my own shop for my artwork, and studying animation.

 

My goals going forward are to continue to build my skills and experience in animation, gain more experience in graphic design principles and typography, and eventually create my own art book one day. In order to achieve these goals, I am actively still seeking out opportunities to learn and discover not only more about digital processes, but also about my own work to fulfil my creative dreams.
